These dolls are so beautiful and detailed! I plan to style their hair in the future but my review pictures are how they came straight out of the box for reference. Their hair is soft and very thick, and their animal ears stick on well as long as you make sure to fasten the magnetic clip close to the root of the hair. Their legs are strung well enough that they can stand on their own. They are a bit top heavy though, so I'd recommend they sit on your shelf unless you have a stand for them! Their arms are strung a bit looser than the legs and can't keep a few positions such as holding their hand in front of their face, but they have no problem holding their arms up and won't have any difficulties with most poses. It's easy to change their hands and remove/reattach the head. Attaching the back of the head with the wig was a little difficult the first time, but it gets easier with practice. The outfits are nicely put together and have so many wonderful little details. They fit well and it was easy to dress them. Gogo's blue cardigan over her dress feels particularly high quality and softer than I expected. Her leg warmers also seem a little fragile and easy to fray because of the raw edges, but all of the rest of the clothing feels well made on each of the dolls. Their shoes fit well, which is a relief because I've had a lot of issues with doll shoes falling off in the past! In this order, I asked support if I could confirm one of the styles as Gogo, and they were very helpful. If there's a specific character you want in a blind box they may be able to confirm it for you for a very small fee. Free shipping was good too, it only took 8 days to get to the US from China. Overall I am very happy with my experience, and the dolls are absolutely worth their price. They're even cuter in person!

She’s sooo cute in person! The pink and navy colors look really nice together and I love her little glasses and gradient eyes. She also has a lot more tiny details than I expected, especially on her outfit and accessories. Her clothes are layered and pretty detailed for such a small doll, and the oversized sleeves are adorable. The glasses fit her face well and don’t look awkward or too big. Her hair is really full and soft, although you do have to mess with the bangs/stray hairs a little to get them sitting how you want. She poses really well too! Her hands are easy to swap/position and she can hold cute poses without feeling super stiff. The face and eye printing is really clean on mine and she photographs REALLY well. Overall she feels much nicer and more detailed in person than I expected. Definitely one of those dolls where I liked the listing photos but liked her way more once I actually had her Side note: the hair wig piece was a nightmare struggle to twist on. I ended up watching a guide on it, takes a lot of force. After that it’s super secure but good luck taking it off again.

Aside from Meme (pink hair), I generally consider these dolls a 5/5! Also, the hair is frizzy in my photos because I don't have a proper shelf for them right now and the AC is running often. I promise they look better in person, I'm just really, really bad at photos lol. Also, if you have trouble with the hairstyles, try getting rednote and following Meki + the account linked in their profile. They have hair styling tutorials on there. Now for the yap: - Negatives - Meme's wig: This is easily my biggest complaint. Mine has noticeable bald spots around her pigtails, and after Kikagoods contacted the brand on my behalf, they confirmed that this is apparently intentional rather than a defect. You can style around it, but her shorter pigtails and thinner hair on the back of her head make some hairstyles difficult or impossible. This was especially disappointing because Meme was my favorite. Minor paint and accessory issues: The clips used for the ears are quite difficult to fasten, not all of the magnets are strong enough to stay still, and there were some white flecks where paint chipped off on a few of the ears. Clothing: The socks are pretty delicate (be careful), and the clothing/shoes stain the body easily. Hopefully the creators make fitting anti-staining clothing. Freebie water decals: The eyes are desaturated compared to the originals, but the decals are otherwise high-quality and easy to apply. I tried a few and even without any supplies they stick well & the outlines are not visible. - Positives - The hair: Aside from Meme's wig design, the hair is incredibly smooth, thick, and easy to work with. I've never really styled doll hair before, and I'm honestly not great at styling my own hair, but I still found it easy to smooth and style everyone's hair to resemble the promotional photos. These dolls have a lot of hair, though, so I'd recommend half-up or twin-tail styles. A full ponytail might genuinely snap your hair band, LOL. The clothing: The outfits are adorable and feel high quality. I also really appreciate that they're relatively simple and easy to put on without being overly complicated. The dolls themselves: Both the bodies and heads feel high quality, and the dolls pose really well. Only thing is that sometimes when rotating the arms, they'll rotate together--but if you firmly grab them and bend them they're fine (although mine have aluminum wire in them from the first-batch preorder). Overall - I only docked one star, mostly because of Meme's hair. She was my favorite, but her wig makes her feel more like a 3/5 doll while the rest are easily 5/5. Despite that, this is an extremely good doll set, and Meki absolutely did not disappoint. I'm really hoping Kikagoods stocks the two Limited dolls soon because I'm 100% buying them ASAP. I'd also love to see an accessory set someday, especially extra bodies for DIY projects, spare wigs, or additional water decals!
